The ekey uno rechargeable battery in white serves as a power supply for the ekey uno fingerprint scanner, wireless, and is attached to its bottom side. This turns it into an ekey uno rechargeable fingerprint scanner, wireless, in no time and does not require a fixed power supply via cable.



Battery status of the ekey uno rechargeable battery

The ekey uno rechargeable fingerprint scanner, wireless, gives you a signal when the level of the rechargeable battery reaches 20%. The top-left and bottom-right segments of the fingerprint scanner’s signaling segments light up red.



Charging the ekey uno rechargeable battery

To charge the ekey uno rechargeable battery, please wait until it has reached room temperature again. During the charging process, the rechargeable battery LED flashes red and green. As soon as the rechargeable battery is fully charged, it will glow continuously green. You can easily charge the rechargeable battery overnight and thus quickly restore the wireless battery operation of the fingerprint scanner. It takes about 5 hours to fully charge the rechargeable battery.



Storing an unused ekey uno rechargeable battery

Any rechargeable batteries not being used must be carefully stored. The rechargeable battery must not be opened. Keep the contacts of rechargeable batteries not being used away from small metal objects such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, etc, as these can affect the functioning of the battery.



Converting a mains-powered ekey uno to a battery-powered one

If you are already using a mains-powered ekey uno (fixed power supply via cable) and want to convert it to battery operation (e.g. due to changes around the home or moving to another house), you can do this without any problems. For this, you need the ekey uno rechargeable battery and the ekey uno rechargeable battery power supply.
