New functions for ekey multi – multiple access solutions

ekey has now adapted the ekey multi control panel REG 4 to the functionality of newly launched products and thus added some new functions:

Decisive factors include the introduction of the card reader function (RFID) for all fingerprint scanners and the compatibility of the alternative code pad ekey keypad in the ekey multi access control system. The brand new interface for integrating ekey fingerprint scanners into KNX building control systems also required a functional expansion of this control panel. Some further adjustments additionally enable an even easier operation or were implemented due to various customer requests.

The new functions of the ekey multi SE REG 4 at a glance:

• Integration of ekey home fingerprint scanners with MIFARE DESFire encryption and ekey home keypad IN.
• Adaptation of the menu to allow easy operation and administration of fingerprint scanners, RFID transponders and pin codes of individual users.
• Introduction of configurable digital inputs.
• Setting option for time-delayed relay switching. This setting option allows the relay to switch only after a certain time after authorization. (delayed switching)
• Extension of the access function by means of a master key. (Sx)
• Menu language can be changed during operation.
• Triggering KNX events in conjunction with the ekey home CV KNX.
• Signaling of the states of the digital input on the LEDs of the fingerprint scanner. (EMA state)
