ekey uno app privacy policy

Data privacy statement

It is possible to use our ekey uno app without providing personal data. Data is personal if it can be assigned to a natural person.

With the app’s user management function, you are free to save user names. With this feature you can create, enable and delete users. You can also administer user fingerprints and restrict user rights. When you use this feature, the data you enter is captured by our app, stored, and sent to your ekey system. This data is still available to the owner of the mobile device as part of this feature.

The personal data you enter is sent to the ekey system by our app just so that it can be operated. Apart form that, this data will neither be processed nor forwarded to third parties. The data is stored in the ekey uno app and in your ekey system until you delete it.
To use the app, name and email address must be entered for login. These are stored on the mobile device for later automatic login and are not further processed by us.
For analysis purposes, you can send data from the app to ekey’s support team. In this case, diagnostic data from your ekey product and the contact data entered, such as name and email address, and optionally address and/or telephone number, are sent to us for the purpose of contacting you. This transfer must be triggered by the user. The contact and analysis data for the respective support case can only be accessed by the support employee and is stored until the support case is closed. The diagnostic data is transferred to an ekey server in Linz/Austria via an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The data sent will only be used to contact you, as well as for analysis and error detection and will not be forwarded to third parties.
We would like to point out that you have the possibility to correct or delete incorrect data in the app at any time. You can contact us free of charge at any time with questions about the collection, processing or use of your personal data and their correction, blocking or deletion.
