New eye-catcher in Linz’s industrial area harbor

The company headquarters of ekey biometric systems in the Lunzerstraße in the Traunhafen industrial park (former voestalpine heavy load harbor) developed.

Just in time for the completion of the plant expansion, graffiti artists Erich Willner (aka “SHED”) and Max Wesenauer (“Max Art Design”) conjured up this expressive motif on the 23-meter-high facade.

“YOU ARE UNIQUE!”

Sprayed was a mix of message, fingerprint scanner and anonymous person in the typical corporate colors. “In addition to the visual enhancement of the building, it was very important to us that not only the company and its employees themselves, but also every viewer of the graffiti can identify with it. In this way, we want to communicate our corporate values to the outside world,” says Managing Director Dr. Leopold Gallner, who took up the spray can himself to symbolically finalize the work.

During an “open day” for employees, family members, friends and business partners, not only the unique facade could be admired, but also the new premises. The additional 572 square meters of state-of-the-art office space will be used in the future for technology and development of further innovative fingerprint access solutions from ekey. 77 of the nearly 100 employees currently work at the headquarters in Linz, which covers a total area of 2400 square meters.
