In January 2023 ekey biometric systems presents two new fingerprint scanners: ekey xLine and ekey sLine. These bring additional options for building access beyond keyless opening. So the smart home starts with many new features right when you get home!
The ekey xLine fingerprint can be mounted on the wall as a flush-mounted or surface-mounted variant, while the ekey sLine fingerprint is suitable for integration into modular door stations. After installation and setup via the ekey bionyx app, doors or gates can be opened conveniently and easily with a finger – and the various smart functions are also impressive. As a result, users experience a new sense of convenience: they benefit from many options for their digital keychain that go beyond the tried-and-tested method of opening the door with their finger.
Central app administration, smart functions
The access solutions are administered via the ekey bionyx app on a smartphone or tablet. There, all settings can be edited individually. Basic functions such as intuitive app administration or an access log can also be expanded to include smart features. Then access points can also be opened remotely when needed. The connection to the voice assistant Amazon Alexa brings additional convenience: The door can be opened from the inside by voice command and various greeting routines can be set up for opening by fingerprint. A smart feature that is especially handy for parents: the push message. This way, if the child has come home safely from school and opens the door with the fingerprint, they can be informed directly if they wish and do not have to worry about the whereabouts of their offspring.
Future-proof system
ekey xLine and ekey sLine are also compatible with the ekey dLine for door leaf and door handle: all fingerprint scanners can also be easily combined in the ekey bionyx system. It is therefore not necessary to decide in advance what scope the access control system should have: It can be subsequently expanded with additional users, functions, and devices. The simple synchronization of the stored fingers is also particularly practical. Because once stored, they work with all fingerprint scanners in the system. Thanks to continuous updates, users always have the latest software and benefit from additional functions and ongoing development. In addition to the various smart functions directly in the ekey bionyx system, it is also possible to connect to other smart home systems.
