“We have vehicles worth more than 10 million Swiss francs. From an insurance perspective, we have to track very precisely who enters which area at what time,” explains Dr. Andreas Bänziger, one of the owners of Aston Martin St. Gallen. With ekey net, Aston Martin opts for a networked, secure, cross-location access solution with central user and access management. ekey is used, among other applications, in the Swiss headquarters’ building entrance, the special car safe and the spare parts storage. Even service trucks have been equipped with ekey fingerprint scanners.
