ekey and Testify: Successful cooperation in digital quality management

Before ekey fingerprint scanners delight customers, they undergo a long process chain and rigorous testing. In cooperation with the company
Testify
the documentation of quality and safety controls was successfully digitized. Data is now collected using a mobile app and the collected data is automatically exchanged between ekey’s internal software systems. The project also convinced the Chamber of Labor of Upper Austria and was supported within the framework of the AK Future Fund.

Digitization project

ekey has been developing and producing fingerprint scanners in Linz/Austria for almost 20 years and employs around 100 people. In the areas of occupational safety and quality control, the company relies on the digital, mobile solution from Testify GmbH. Manfred Brunner, Head of Innovation and Organization at ekey, praises: “We now have 100% documentation quality, can evaluate test results in real time and coordinate further processes in the supply chain in a timely manner. It’s fair to say that with Testify, we’ve optimized our digital quality management and processes have been improved for the benefit of our employees.”

fit in well with the Upper Austrian Chamber of Labor’s concern to put people at the forefront of digitization. Therefore, it was decided to support this within the framework of the “AK Future Fund”.
