ekey honored with Crestron Award
ekey has already been working with the technology provider Crestron for several years. The company presented the “Crestron Europe Integration Awards 2021” in February 2022. Among the winners is also ekey, in the following category:

- Crestron Home – Most Creative use of a Crestron Home Extension: ekey biometric systems GmbH for the integration of ekey finger scanners with Crestron Home
“We are very pleased to have made it to the award winners again after 2019. Through this new integration with Crestron, our fingerprint scanners are fully integrated into the Crestron Home System. Individual fingers can trigger different scenarios and user administration is done from the Crestron Home app. For us, the recognition with the award means that we have once again achieved our goal of creating intuitive, user-friendly biometric access solutions,” explains Georg Schaffer, sales manager at ekey. Support for the “ekey fingerprint with Crestron Home” project came from IT & AV Development Ltd, a long-standing ekey partner in Greece, which should also not go unmentioned.
