The British TV show George Clarke’s Building Home stands for extraordinary building projects, visionary architecture and genuine heartfelt stories. In one of the current episodes, we from ekey were also able to be part of this special project. Together with the renowned door manufacturer Urban Front, our ekey dLine fingerprint scanner was featured on TV – integrated into a custom-made designer front door that perfectly combines extraordinary architecture, precise craftsmanship and state-of-the-art technology from ekey.

An extraordinary building project on Anglesey

An architectural masterpiece was created from an almost derelict farmhouse on an extensive plot of land. The historical substance served as inspiration – many original stones were reused and integrated into a new overall concept with the utmost precision craftsmanship. The focus was always on quality, genuine materials and attention to detail.

The result: a home that looks as if it has been there for centuries – harmoniously embedded in the coastal landscape. Generous panoramic windows open up views of the sea and horizon, open living spaces in warm natural tones combine elegance with comfort. Interior and exterior merge to create a harmonious overall picture – architecture, nature and design in perfect balance.

Details of the front door from Urban Front

The Barn External and Porto Wide door model was installed, which combines robust exterior quality with a stylish interior finish. The inside and the inner frame are designed in RAL Farrow & Ball “Babouche 223” and measure 1500 × 2100 mm. The outer frame is finished in RAL 7015 slate gray and measures 2070 × 2100 mm. The design is rounded off with an option 11 door handle. An ekey dLine fingerprint scanner is seamlessly integrated into the door leaf. Each individual component ensures that the door has a modern and high-quality look.

No compromises on security and convenience – the ekey access solution for a home with a future

And because there is no room for compromise in a life project like this, they were also consistent when it came to security and convenience: they opted for a front door with an ekey fingerprint scanner – a state-of-the-art access solution for a home that combines tradition and the future in a unique way. The custom-made designer front door from Urban Front was seamlessly equipped with the ekey dLine fingerprint scanner – for maximum convenience, maximum security and a stylish entrance.
