Card reader (RFID) – the alternative as an additional function
All ekey finger scanner are available with a card reading function (RFID). The door can thus be opened using a transponder or card without storing the user’s finger. This optional additional function is often used to grant visitors temporary access . The RFID function also offers people with disabilities an alternative.
ekey home app – access and administration with the smartphone
The free ekey home app makes it easy to carry out all important configurations of the finger scanner and the entire administration via smartphone or tablet.
Door opening with the mobile device
The administrator can also authorize other people to use their smartphone or tablet as a “door opener” without storing a finger in the system. Access authorization can be revoked at any time by the administrator.
Opening the door from the immediate vicinity is advantageous in many situations, e.g. B. when unloading the car, for people with disabilities, for doors with automatic opening or garage doors, etc. For these applications, the mobile device serves as a “door opener”: ekey home app start, press the desired button and the door opens.
Activate or deactivate users with the push of a button
With the ekey home app, stored users, e.g. B. neighbors, a temporary access authorization can be given during the holiday absence. After returning, the authorization can be deactivated again without deleting the users.
The ekey home app is available free of charge for Apple iOS and Google Android.
